Retired Faculty
Retired Wayne State University faculty can enjoy many of the same library privileges as before retirement, however there are a few differences.
Electronic Resources - Remote Access
The library system is pleased to start offering remote access to selected licensed resources, denoted with this icon , to retired faculty. We currently have licensed titles from Proquest, Elsevier, and Ebsco, and will continue to add more.
Databases remotely accessible to retired faculty
Nearly all licensed resources are also accessible when physically in a WSU library building. In addition the State of Michigan licenses many databases for Michigan residents so you may be able to find what you need through the list of MeL databases.
Borrowing
Most borrowing privileges are the same as before you retired. Details are available on our borrowing privileges page.
Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery
We regret that licensing and legal restrictions do not allow access to interlibrary loan services to retired faculty.
